i was visiting with friends and family in douglasville and caught your show in a little hole in the wall club called mustang sally. at first when we entered the place i didn't want to pay a cover charge because we just wanted to play some pool and have a couple cold ones but the big guy at the door told us that we didn't want to miss this band. that you were just playing this club as a favor to the owner and a five dollar cover charge was nothing to hear a bard of your caliber. he said you guys opened for bands like kansas and blackfoot and he was not sure when you would be back in this bar again. he was convincing enough that we paid the cover and i must say you are the only band i have heard that stopped me in the middle of a pool game to go over to the other side of the bar and watch you guys perform. i really like the rock and southern rock style music and it is refreshing to hear new original music coming out of the south again. if you ever get into the birmingham area i will have to come see you guys. rock on. billy

I was fortunate to accompany the band to the Fort Benning concert for the "Salute to the Troops". I must say, I wasnt disappointed. It is refreshing to hear original music instead of the usual cover tunes most of the bands play. For me cover tunes never measure up to the original version. Each of us that attended the gig was touched by their music. Their style of "Southern Rock" spans the age barriers...From 2year olds bouncing to the rhythm, to the Seniors patting their feet or tapping their hands on their laps....of course the rest of us...what can I say it was butt wiggles, arms waving, head bobbing and much more! All enjoyed the unique voice of the lead singer and the blending of the other members to make Lucas McCain a forerunner in the SO. Rock style. So many up and coming bands I have heard in the last 40 something yrs. rarely have developed a sound so unique they stand out from the rest...they try to copy and sound like the top 40...when they do this they get lost in the crowd. There was a glich with the headliner in that their choir did not show up on time...and had to switch positions with Lucas McCain making Lucas the headliner! Needless to say they rocked the house down eventhough the lights were fading and most of the vendors were breaking down.... they played their full set..giving it their all. What showmanship....what professionalism!! That is what makes "LUCAS MCCAIN" the STANDOUT IN THE CROWD! I'm a fan...I'm a rocker from way back and Lucas Mccain is at the top of my playlist...

I am good friends with one of the band members and have seen him play with several different bands over the years. I saw Lucas McCain for the first time Saturday night at Mustang Sally in Villa Rica, Georgia and these guys rock! I will definetly see them again in May when they play at Double Vision. Who knows, maybe Rusty will come up and play the drums for a song or two!! The variety of music is great for any type of music lover because they even impressed my husband, which isn't easy! Thanks for the great time! Denice

Hi! I'm a fan from Viet Nam. I've visited your website. That is a good band with profestional and motivated artists there. I also like your songs, too. They attract me a lot though I can't understand exact words in them clearly. I hope you will be highly appreciated in the world soon, surely including in Viet Nam. I want to make friends to everyone of you. Best wishes and successes to you!
