Older Than Oceans was formed in the summer of 2013. It was based on long time friends that had a vision to create music that was unique, yet creative and melodic at the same time. 

Soon after the summer ended, Brian was recruited to play drums for the band. Not too long after that, Tom and Nick met through mutual acquaintances and Tom quickly joined the flow of Older Than Oceans as they began writing material for their first EP, "I, Undefined". The band emulated an Alternative, Post-Hardcore sound that displayed more of an experimental side as everyone grew closer together. During the writing and recording process, long time friend and photographer Steven Cole joined the lineup as the bassist and final piece of the band.

Older Than Oceans played many shows throughout the latter of 2014 along the east coast. Shortly after, OTO parted ways with their original singer. This would move Tom up to lead vocals and Nick as backup vocals. This prompted the band to shift their genre and approach their writing with a more mature ear.

As of now, the band has been booking new shows and writing new material to add to their repertoire, as well as for new releases in the future.
