Steve Cole Bass Steven found himself deeply connected to artistic expression at a very young age. Ranging from drawing, painting, playing/singing music, and writing. For Christmas his father gave him his first guitar at age 10. Years later when playing with some friends; they commented that he should try playing bass guitar.; shortly after he purchased his first bass. Playing in multiple bands and with fellow musicians, he constantly found himself growing as a well-rounded musician. While pursuing photography he was asked to photograph Older Than Oceans first show, where he befriended their members. With photographing their shows including their first out of state tour, their bond grew and he became the bassist and most recent member of Older Than Oceans. Influences stemming from Silverstein, Minus the Bear and Hands Like Houses, creates a unique sound and style. His goal is to never stop growing as a musician and to continue his journey with his friends in Older Than Oceans.
